Should we take benadryl or not?
Madeleine was a breeze on the plane. She slept during take off and perked up during landing,
But she was cranky little one and i think she got homesick real quick.

It was also our anniversary. 9 years of bliss... She makes me real. We ordered room service and played with Maddie for the rest of the night. 

 We also went to a wedding, Robin and Jojo's, It was up in North Shore at a private house/beach. Very picturesque. they gave out free custom made cigars.

 We did let Maddie have some treats. It's amazing how she already knows all yummy stuff, or the bad stuff.

We've been feeding Maddie only the best. Everything is organic, and fresh.  Almost straight of the farm. 
With corporations and food conglomerates concerned more with profits than our well being, Gerber just don't cut it anymore. Check the labels it's like a science glossary and sometimes it comes from
China..???!!!! Maybe when she gets older she can share my food!  But for now we make our own BABYFOOD.
 
Not limited to just pears and chicken, We also feed her some peas, sweet potatoes, and apples.

Happy Anniversary!! 8 years of bliss

It's our anniversary! Just wanted to let you know that putting that ring on you was the best thing I ever did.  Remember, after the wedding I invited all these people to come up to the hotel room for an after party, Boy was I wasted.

Thank you for all the crazy memories and just putting up with my shit! But most of all Thank you for Maddie! 

You are my control to my chaos, my higgs boson to my particles. Love you babe!

So amazed by her smile... Two month update:

Everything seems to be okay except for the umbilical hernia, which sucks of course. You can actually press on her belly button and hear insides swoosh. The docs told us to wait and see if it closes on its own. They say its normal like everything else. I'm surprised by how everything is considered normal. jaundice, normal... cradle cap, normal... hernias normal... SMHThe nights are filled with cries which we try to solve by feeding, changing, swinging, or dancing...
Although she sleeps longer these days, we (mostly Helen) still wake up around 1am, 2am or even 3am to change and feed.


I've been real lazy with updating, I'm in the works in creating a new vid and will upload real soon. NO EXCUSES!!

Look! My life changed on 7/13/12.
She came to us on a Friday morning at 8:06am. To be honest I thought the operation was taking a bit long and i was getting a bit anxious. 15min passed. 25mins. I noticed they had Red Hot Chili Peppers blasting away on the OR speakers. WTH!!.. I tell Helen, "I think they're playing Foo Fighters" Helen's smile gives me some comfort.
30mins pass and I start thinking for the worst. Just my natural paranoid reaction.
I see the doctors frantically working, nurses grabbing these metal prongs and stuff. oi vey...
Then I hear Madeleine's first cry. I instantly fall in Love.

Doing that Daddy Thing Special PRE DELIVERY UPDATE

Better late than never!
I wanted to post this vid before Madeleine's birth but couldn't push it out before the weekend. No pun intended ;)
In this vid, you get a view of Madeleine's completed nursery, a story of a chicken or an owl (you decide), and a message from mommy and daddy to our MadPie.

3rd Trimester Catch Up!!

I finally got up and updated the blog. I was sick and out. I even missed work and I'm Korean. We never call in sick! :0
Anyways, the baby is 2 weeks behind in growth rate. We're hoping she's small because of genetics and not IUGR which was mentioned by the doctor... pretty scary stuff.
We were slated to deliver on the 7th of July but was pushed back a week.
And Helen was advised to drink Ensure every night. Yum!
